This is not one of those “sales letters” — I promise. I am not trying to sell you anything. If you see the opportunity in this letter, call me. Please trust me that this is something you might benefit from and please read everything.
I‘ve discovered an incredible opportunity for you to make significant money and give your clients an experience they will never forget. I am only writing to you and a handful of speakers/authors who are capable of taking advantage of this opportunity.
I have just returned from a 10-day Atlantic Ocean crossing aboard the SeaDream Yacht Club, one of two ships owned by a new marketing consulting client of mine. The yachts are 344’ long and only carry a maximum of 110 passengers. It’s a five-star yacht that has been rated #1 by all of the top reviewing organizations.
SeaDream Yacht Club is an innovative, new yachting company that operates the twin, ultra-luxury mega yachts SeaDream I and SeaDream II. The stylish SeaDream yachts are highly acclaimed by discerning travelers seeking a unique seagoing experience and by travel industry observers everywhere.

SeaDream Yacht Club was founded in September of 2001 by Norwegian entrepreneur Atle Brynestad who founded Seabourn Cruise Line and Larry Pimentel, who was President of Seabourn under Brynestad and later President and CEO of the merged companies Cunard-Seabourn. Pimentel is President and Chief Executive Officer of SeaDream and a Co-Owner. Brynestad is Chairman and Owner. The two friends brought into SeaDream a small group of management colleagues with vast travel industry experience as well as shipboard officers and staff of unequaled ability.
My client is not a cruise line. It’s a yacht company and it provides a yachting experience. Yachting features an open and unstructured ambience that provides guests the ability to fulfill their own dreams at their own pace and in their own style. We like to express this as "No clocks, no crowds, no lines, no stress." The key word for the SeaDream yachting experience is "unstructured". It is all about personal choice. Think of it as a free form holiday in which guests fall into a "SeaDream" and believe that they are aboard their own yacht. That is why we say, "It is yachting, not cruising".
When I took on SeaDream as a client my assignment was to identify corporations for full-yacht charters and other group sales opportunities. Two weeks after I signed on with SeaDream I booked a 10-day Atlantic Ocean crossing (at my expense) to experience this unique yacht experience first-hand. What I experienced those 10 days was beyond belief and virtually beyond description.
It didn’t take me long to see the opportunity to use SeaDream Yacht Club for a spectacular seminar at sea program.

Meetings Facilities
The Main Salon is a gorgeous room that seats up to 100 people in comfortable chairs and couches. It’s fully private, and fully equipped with audiovisual equipment. You don’t even need to haul your laptop.
Space is available throughout the ship for breakouts and small groups. And lots of interesting spaces for private study including the library, on deck or in the spacious staterooms (with large desks and internet access).
You can choose to dine as a group at breakfast lunch or dinner…or, you can leave your group to dine on their own indoors or outdoors (one of the many dining facilities)…you decide.
Your clients can have an early deluxe continental breakfast at the pool or order from an extensive menu in one of the indoor or outdoor restaurants…or, they can sleep in and have breakfast in bed.
Lunch can be an extensive cold buffet or prepared hot from the menu…or both! Dinner can be served under the stars at the Topside Restaurant or among the many private alcoves around the deck. Or, the entire group can be accommodated in the formal dining room. Your choice…since the mega-yachts SeaDream I and II are unique. Both can accommodate all of your guests either indoors or outdoors.
Wherever you decide to take your meals, be assured your menu will be exquisite, varied and plentiful. Don’t be afraid to ask for more…or sample more than one option! You will meet the Chef so you can influence your own menus. Your waiters have all worked in Europe’s finest five-star restaurants and they will make your dining experience one you’ll never forget.
Each and every guest felt as if this was their private yacht.

Program Options
As a fellow professional speaker who spent nearly two weeks aboard SeaDream, I can recommend the following program options or I can work with you to develop alternatives:
Option 1: Charter the ship
By chartering the entire ship, you choose the dates, the duration, the itinerary, everything. You are given a port of embarkation and disembarkation. Together with SeaDream Yacht Club, you will decide on the ports of call. It’s your ship for the time period. You own it and Sea Dream Yacht Club will customize the entire experience for you and your clients. When you charter the ship, you make a non-refundable 50% deposit of the charter fee when signing the agreement.
Option 2: Take the entire ship without chartering
With this option, Sea Dream gives you a window of time to sell your educational program without making an upfront deposit. The idea is to sell the experience in advance within a short deadline. You simply remit a 50% deposit that you collect from your clients. You have NO financial outlay!
Option 3: Smaller group
If you can’t fill the entire ship, SeaDream will work with you to register a smaller group, handle your reservations, collect the fees etc. While you may share the ship with other passengers, you still have access to all meeting facilities…and keep in mind, there will never be more than 110 passengers total!
Option 4: Share the ship with a colleague
Use any of the above options and do a program with one or more of your colleagues. In this way, you could still control the entire ship with clients and share the marketing effort.
Financial Opportunities
I recommend selling the experience as a total package. You simply decide the fee you want to charge for your educational program.
The package will be very marketable to include:
- your educational program and any other access to you that you want to provide
- accommodations aboard a five-star resort at sea on a private mega-yacht
- all meals
- all drinks
- all gratuities
- wine with lunch and dinner
- use of water toys in port
- all onboard activities
What makes this idea so marketable is the uniqueness of your educational program for a small select group and the intimacy and luxury the SeaDream yacht affords.
Here’s an example of your tremendous financial opportunity:
Charge $1,000/person for your educational program and earn $50,000…or include a spouse program and double it to $100,000! Most top speakers will charge 2, 3, 4 or $5,000/person and earn $100,000 - $250,000 for the week.
I’m guessing you know 50 couples who have the interest in a learning environment such as the SeaDream Yacht Club and have the financial resources to do it. You could probably fill the yacht with your own clientele a couple times a year.
Logistical Support
If you want a total, no hassle experience, I would be happy to come along and handle all the details for you as your exclusive meeting planner—room set up, A/V, materials, etc. And, more important, I’ll act as concierge for your important clients and be available to them for their questions and problems, land arrangements etc. That leaves you to concentrate on your program and enjoy your voyage. I will help you with promotions, information, testimonials…I can even assist you with registration if you want help. There is no charge to you for any of my services.
I am happy to meet with you in person at your convenience and at MY expense to discuss the SeaDream experience…and help you set up what I know will be one of the most memorable educational experiences your clients have ever had…and one of the most profitable for you.
As I promised, I won’t call you and bother you if you don’t think this is an opportunity in which you are interested. But if you are, please call me at (727-641-5614) or email me at ed@EdPeters4Profit.com
