Testimonials Aren’t Always Written
We miss hundreds of valuable marketing tools because we fail to capture “spoken” testimonials. Haven’t you ever heard your customer say something like this in a casual conversation?: “Your (service/product) helped my company save thousands of dollars last year,” or “Your people are the best!” Upon hearing these words, we beam with pride and say thank you…and miss a huge opportunity.
When your customer gives you a verbal testimonial, solicited or unsolicited, ALWAYS ask if you can use those words as a testimonial. Write them down right away and add them to your growing collection of useful testimonials.
Capture testimonials from customer emails and from notes written on invoices etc.
