How to Ask for a Testimonial
I always ask my clients and audience members, “If you’ve received value from me, would you be willing to write down something about the value you received?” When people realize that all you want is a quote or “clip” and not a letter, you’ll get many more responses, incredible responses.
With every client transaction or positive experience ask the customer if they would be willing to write a testimonial clip about the VALUE they received – even if they have done so in the past. Because you use testimonial clips in your marketing system, you can never have too many. Plus, subsequent testimonials from the same clients have a way of getting better each time.
