Marketing Materials That “Sell” Don’t Sell At All

 

The 4Profit Marketing SystemSM is all about marketing strategies that most, if not all of your competitors never use. Being unique is a marketing strategy and your marketing materials can make you unique. But not traditional marketing materials.

 

Traditional marketing materials are written and designed to cram as much information about YOU as you can in the space allowed. Your prospects and customers don’t want to know about you (despite your egotistic thoughts). They only care about THEMSELVES and your marketing materials should reflect that!

 

At many of my marketing seminars to sales and marketing people, I’ll ask them to bring their company brochures with them. After analyzing their content, I’ve found that over 95% of text and graphics were about the company, its virtues, accomplishments, services etc.

 

Save that for the annual report to stockholders!

If you want your marketing materials to be read by your prospects and kept, materials must have VALUE to them!
