Salespeople’s biggest downfall is their follow-up and follow-through. It’s in the follow-up where you’ll find most of your business!
My follow-up with my customer and prospects is immediate – usually within 24 hours of some type of contact. It usually consists of a postcard with the following elements:
· Thank you for talking to me
· Fulfillment of promises made during our discussion
· 2-3 testimonials to reinforce our discussion
· Referral request
· Some call to action
