Never Give Your Business Card Without Writing on the Back of It

The reason I give you my business card is to get you to remember me. If you don’t remember me from my business card, what is the use of giving you my card in the first place? I teach the benefits of writing on the back of every business card you take. That way you’ll remember who you met and what you talked about.

When I hand you my card, I write on it as well…because I don’t trust you to do it. The last thing I want is for you to pick up my card three weeks from now and wonder who I am and what we talked about. So I “manage” your memory by writing what I want you to remember about me.

I write such things as the date and place we met, what we talked about, agreements made etc. A month from now, when you pick up my card, you WILL remember me!
