A Realtime Change Example
On January 1st each year, I change the copyright notice on the covers of my manuals to the new year. It gives the reader the impression that’s it’s a new manual. Plus, each time I make major revisions to the manual, I cal it a 2nd, 3rd etc. edition. The reader knows they are getting an improved “model.” My first book still says “Copyright 1998” and there’s not a thing I can do about it.
