Add Your Bio to Your Manual
Unlike standard books, you should put your bio in the front of your manual. I want my readers to read about me before they read the manual because I’ve written the bio for credibility and a rationale for my expertise on the subject.
Include all the reasons you are an expert in your area. Your customer has already purchased your materials, but now your bio will help them feel better about their investment.
Don’t scrounge on space. A bio in a book is usually only a paragraph or so. Use all 8½” by 11½” and tell your story.
