They Don’t Want Your Books—

They Want Your Information

 

I have come to know that if you have something your audience wants (your knowledge, ideas, solutions), they want all of it and they want it now. They don’t really want your books, they want your information. You can put your information in a book but here’s the problem with that:

 

1) you can’t get a fair exchange for your information in a book

2) people don’t really want one more book they’ll never read

 

Even if they do buy your book and read it, it rarely gets read again 

 

Why Not Books

You can’t get a fair exchange for your information in a book

Your audience doesn’t want another book they won’t read

Books are read once (maybe) and never again

If not book, what?
