Books Read Once and Never Again
We have all seen many people hear a speaker and then buy all their books. I once saw one woman buy 7 books from a speaker. What are the odds that that woman will read all those 7 books. And if she does, what are the odds that she will read any of them more than once? Not high!
We all have purchased so many books that have never become a regular resource, a place to revisit before we make the next move, a place to go before we spend the next dime, a place to check before we make dumb mistakes the resource will surely help us avoid.
Books just don’t serve that purpose for most of us, and selling your audiences a book—at any price—isn’t really helping them as much as you can. So what’s the answer?
